Biography


Jessica is a philanthropic strategist with a passion for creating social change. She has extensive experience working with family foundations and individual philanthropists, designing grant programs and strategic initiatives to achieve greater impact in the community. Her sector knowledge includes the arts, access to college education, early childhood development, environment, health innovations, veterans, and community building.

Prior to venturing into the world of consulting, Jessica was a long- time associate at JMC Philanthropic Advisors, a Los Angeles based boutique philanthropic consulting firm. During her time at JMC she was responsible for a wide range of programmatic activities, including the development of grantmaking strategies and the management of grant portfolios and initiatives totaling more than $10 million annually. She produced a variety of medium to large scale events and provided capacity building support to nonprofit grantees.

Jessica combines her experience in foundation advisory with a background in communications, public policy research, event planning and fundraising. As an experienced fundraiser in the political sector, she consulted on several statewide and national political campaigns, raising capital across business sectors and advising on fundraising and messaging strategy. Aligning her passion for children and women’s economic empowerment, she served on fundraising committees for The Kempe Foundation, Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, Brent’s Place and most recently Starfish One-by-One.
