Lauren is an experienced, results-driven marketer with focus on digital marketing, content strategy, marketing automation, social media, branding, and product marketing.
Prior to joining Canopy, Lauren led marketing for a clean technology startup where she brought a product to market, selected and integrated two major software platforms into the business processes, and launched a metrics-driven, multi-channel marketing strategy. Previously, Lauren led the enterprise accounts division of a digital marketing agency specializing in financial services. She worked with clients’ marketing, compliance, sales, and IT departments to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns. Prior to that Lauren was the Digital Marketing Manager for a national financial services company where she created and implemented a social media policy and strategy and vetted and selected an enterprise-level compliant social media management platform for 400+ loan officers. In addition, Lauren worked with functional leaders and development vendors to create a custom social intranet to facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and locations.
Lauren has worked with startups, nonprofits, financial services and insurance organizations, real estate companies, publishers, and retail brands. She has been published in nationally-distributed publications, written content for brands including Bed Bath and Beyond and Tokio Marine HCC Medical Insurance Services, and served on the board of the Colorado chapter of the American Marketing Association.
