Anthony Lux is an engagement marketing professional with over 10 years of marketing leadership and consulting experience. He’s worked with some of the largest higher education institutions, including Harvard, Northeastern University and University of Denver. Most recently at DU he served as the Director of Advancement Marketing and Communications, driving the highest attendance and participation results for events such as Homecoming, Alumni Weekend, and Zoo Lights, as well as doubling year-over-year returns for fundraising activities including Giving Tuesday and One Day for DU. At Northeastern he led digital strategy for major-market brand campaigns and the launch of the billion-plus dollar “Empower” capital campaign. At Harvard Law he wrote speeches, articles and social media engagement, launching social media and transforming both external and internal communications. As a consultant he has continued direct work with non-profit organizations, schools, research programs and design/architecture firms, with clients in Denver and Boston.

With every client or employer, his marketing work has centered around a digital-influenced concept of constituent experience, applied to solve a wide range of brand marketing, communications and advancement challenges. By reversing the standard institutional communication playbook and focusing on the intended message recipients, he helps institutions tell better stories, cultivate greater affinity and ultimately inspire action.
