Colleen K.Marketing & Public Relations
University of Colorado at Boulder, Boulder, Colorado – BA Psychology
Colleen has over 20-years of experience advising diverse B2B and B2C companies on digital strategy, sales enablement, email marketing, content strategy, PR, partnership development and integrated marketing campaigns. Some of her clients have included Wendy’s, Ace Hardware, Sylvan Learning Center, American Red Cross and P2Binvestor. Since leaving her corporate role in 2013, Colleen has taken on 3 separate executive level marketing “interim” roles working with companies that are looking to optimize their marketing and sales strategy, while growing their business and staffing their teams. Colleen has a unique ability to immediately contribute to marketing and customer engagement with companies that need immediate results with tasks ranging from developing event content, to partnership strategy, to PR.
As a member and influencer of the Denver/Boulder Investor and Entrepreneurial community, Colleen has been providing operational leadership and strategic counsel to both enterprise clients and emergent entrepreneurs. In early 2013, Colleen left the corporate world and co-founded an Animal Health Probiotics company with her husband, called Pure Cultures. The company has experienced positive growth which has enabled her to hire staff and consult for other companies.
Colleen is active in the Denver community as a member of the CU Women’s Council, Mentor for the CU Leeds School of Business, Boomtown, and Galvanize, and an Investor and Mentor with MergeLane, a Boulder-based Accelerator working with companies with at least one woman in leadership. To further her goal of learning more about how public school finance works in Colorado, Colleen was appointed to the DPS Bond oversight committee and elected as co-chair of the committee.
