Jennifer is a communications strategist with 20 years of experience writing for businesses across industries and academic fields. Purposely cultivating opportunities to collaborate with educational and child advocacy groups, Jennifer has recently developed marketing material, social media campaigns and winning grant proposal for charter schools, arts organizations and innovative child-focused non-profits. Her sector experience also includes financial services, healthcare, technology, retail, law and more, providing her the opportunity to communicate within diverse business cultures and languages, as well as meet different industry goals.

Prior to launching her freelance practice, Jennifer worked as a Marketing Manager for Keane, Inc., a $1 billion technology company. At Keane, she provided creative direction to a team of writers responsible for developing consistent messaging across marketing platforms, and she spearheaded the creation of a proposal development process for a national sales force that won more than $400 million in new business in its first two years.

Jennifer’s clients and employers have included Twentieth Television, the U.S. Soccer Federation, KIPP Colorado Schools, KIPP St. Louis Schools, the Art Students League of Denver, the Colorado Legacy Foundation, Mercy Corps and the ImagineNations Group, among others. Her articles and blogs have appeared in the Denver Post, Ed News Colorado, Edudemic, Yahoo Voices, and Mile High Mamas. She provides marketing expertise on a volunteer basis for Tremendous Hearts, a non-profit focused on capacity-building for organizations working with the orphans and vulnerable children of South Africa.
