Jenny has over 16 years of experience as a development professional and consultant in the field of nonprofit fundraising. She provides fundraising strategy, planning, case for support development, grant writing, and research services to various nonprofits in the Denver area, including: Excelsior Youth Center, Colorado Symphony, Montessori School of Denver, Greeley Dream Team, Highline Academy, DSST Public Schools (Denver School of Science and Technology), Mount Saint Vincent Home, Ability Connection Colorado and the Denver Discovery School.

Before becoming a consultant, Jenny served as Grants Manager for DSST Public Schools, helping to complete a $22 million campaign in 2 ½ years for the growing network of public charter schools. Other past positions include Director of Development for the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, where Jenny was responsible for collaborating with a 30-member board of directors to raise $800,000 annually through major gifts, direct mail, corporate sponsorships, special events and foundation grants. As Grants Manager for BoardSource in Washington, D.C., Jenny helped raise $17 million from national foundations and corporate donors for an international organization dedicated to helping nonprofits increase the effectiveness of their governing boards.

Jenny is a 2014 graduate of the University of Denver’s Institute for Leaders in Development. She is a Denver native and holds a B.A. from Williams College and an M.A. from the University of California, Davis. She lives in Denver with her husband and two daughters.
