Michael is a real estate/land use attorney with a passion and focus on green building and clean energy business development. He worked previously with the Purcell & Adams law firm in Lynnwood, WA before going in-house with Trendwest Resorts Inc., now known as Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Michael worked with Wyndham for 8 years after becoming a VP in the legal department as an acquisitions attorney and relocated to Wyndham’s Orlando office.
Michael recently moved back to Washington State and has associated with the Natural Resource Law Group in Ballad where he and his family have taken up residence. Michael’s previous practice in Washington State included representing property owners, landlords, tenants, developers, condominium associations, and an affordable housing nonprofit organization. In addition, Michael was the lead attorney on a land use code remodel project for Snohomish County which resulted in Title 30, the Unified Development Code. Michael was also in charge of monitoring legislative activity in over 50 local governments for Sound Transit in its early years and prior to that was the government affairs director for the Snohomish County Association of Realtors.
As a new resident of Ballard, Michael recently joined the Ballad Chamber of Commerce to get involved with the local business community. Michael is also an active member of the Seattle based CleanTech Alliance and a member of the International Living Future Institute
