Canopy EDGE Membership Agreement
If a Consultant signs up to be a part of Canopy’s EDGE program, this Canopy EDGE Membership Agreement (this “Agreement”) applies to Consultant. This Agreement is part of and incorporates by reference your Independent Consultant Agreement and capitalized terms not defined in this Agreement have the meanings given such terms in your Independent Consultant Agreement.
1. DIGITAL SIGNATURE
By registering for a Canopy EDGE account on the Canopy Advisory Group website (an “Account”), or by clicking to accept the Terms of Service when prompted on the Site, you are deemed to have executed this Agreement electronically, effective on the date you register your Account or click to accept the Terms of Service, pursuant to the U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (the E-Sign Act) (15 U.S.C. § 7001, et seq.). Your Account registration constitutes an acknowledgement that you are able to electronically receive, download, and print this Agreement and any amendments.
2. EDGE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Canopy Advisory Group offers the EDGE membership programs for its Consultants. For purposes of this Agreement, “Member” or “you” means a Consultant participating in the membership program.
The EDGE membership program includes:
- Access to Canopy’s office space;
- Access to login to Canopy’s EDGE portal, including a Consultant directory, calendar, professional development meeting information, and other materials, as decided by Canopy;
- Quarterly lunch and learn programs offered at Canopy’s office space or another site determined by Canopy;
- Professional development meetings; and
- Access to formal client feedback.
Canopy reserves the right to change membership fees, limit the access to Canopy’s office space as needed based on capacity, or institute new fees on the anniversary of your Membership Billing Period (as defined below), upon reasonable notice posted in advance on the Site. No refunds of fees already paid will be given. If Canopy exercises its right to cancel a membership, Canopy will not refund the membership fee already paid.
3. AUTOMATIC MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL AND CANCELLATION
You must pay your EDGE membership fee via credit card. The Membership Billing Period begins on the date that Canopy receives your EDGE membership payment and lasts for 365 days. EDGE membership fees are calculated from the beginning of that billing period. Canopy automatically renews your EDGE membership on the anniversary of your Membership Billing Period. Automatic renewal occurs on the first day after the expiration date. You may cancel your EDGE membership at anytime via the EDGE portal, but Canopy will not refund any EDGE membership dues that may be allocated to the remainder of the current Membership Billing Period.
